Picnic at the allotments

The first of hopefully many picnics happened this week. Spending more time at the allotments allowed the children to make dens and mud pies, ‘sell ice creams’ and study a bucket full of snails.

In the Pre-school garden we washed, bathed and dried babies, painted pebbles yellow and black whilst learning how important bees are, and played shape games.

Inside we continued the theme of making ice creams out of playdough, and enjoyed the new ‘shop’, trolley, and pushchairs donated by Muddy Patches.
