Lots of Christmas activities were available for the children to join in with this week. Loading up the sleigh, and delivering the presents was acted out over and over again. Making goodies for their Christmas box children decorated their Christmas cake and planted the bulbs into their painted pot. We played games of hiding jingle bells under cups, and used Christmas rollers to make patterns in the paint, and soil at the allotments.
An unexpectedly quiet day on Thursday allowed us to make some incredibly sticky ‘Christmas snowballs’, using melted marshmallows, popcorn, butter and M&M’s and shift a lot of wood to the allotments using wheelbarrows.
