Getting caught in the rain has it’s benefits. Trying to catch raindrops on your tongue, lots of different sized and coloured snails to find, and a few surprise puddles to splash in (except for one little girl, who, fortunately knew she had holes in both of her wellies lol).
Turning the soft play into a pirate ship the children waved the flag, walked the plank, and fired canon balls.
After putting Duplo in the house to play with the children then transported pieces into the sand pit enjoying the new small world play they created.
Marj brought in two home grown cucumbers and the children agreed they tasted much nicer than the shop bought ones.
Playing the sock game the children enjoyed emptying, filling and guessing the content of a sock.
