Helping Marj to pull up the leeks and compare size was a great way to engage the children with nature and help develop their fine motor skills. They were excited to take some home to cook.
The dinosaur table fuelled the children’s imagination as they roared and stomped around the room.
Trying a different technique the children got creative with foil. Scrunching it up, flattening it and and gluing sparkly shapes onto it combined tactile experiences with sparkly visuals.
Moving tyres to make towers and climb in proved a fantastic way to support the children’s physical and problem solving skills.
Children enjoyed looking at their scrap books and reflecting on past activities, this really helps them connect to what they have done and boosts their memory.
