Discovering conkers this week, the children carefully opened the partly wrapped in their spiky green cases, conkers. Revealing the mahogany nuts the children described their small, big, smooth finds, and were delighted to sometimes find more than one in the husks.
After collecting natural items at the allotments the children later used them to paint and make marks with.
The tomatoes in the garden were finally ripe enough to pick, and the children used knives to cut them up and examine the insides.
Indoors the children bounced on the bouncy castle, enjoyed our spotty table, and practised their signing for the word ‘please’ and their yoga positions.
