Autumn events

It was an action packed week for the children at Pre-school. We started off cutting up pumpkins and marrows left over from Halloween to make soup. Quickly moving on to Guy Fawkes night children glued sticks onto paper for bonfires, and added tissue and cellophane to make flames. We finished the week colouring and cutting out poppies whilst watching the CBeebies video ‘Poppies’. This is a gentle way to introduce children to Remembrance Day. In between all of this the children enjoyed playing with the light box, it certainly brightened up the dull days we have recently had, and cut sticks up to create a dry, safe place for a snake.
