Using a skewer the children made a rainbow kebab by collecting fallen leaves. It soon became quite competitive between the adults to collect all the colours. We also collected sticks to make a ‘bonfire’ and used our gross and fine motor skills playing with large and small balls. In the afternoon children pressed leaves into clay to make prints.
Outside Pre-school the children were very concerned about a small bird unable to fly. They tried to ‘feed’ it to no avail. Persuading them it would soon find it’s mummy we went in for lunch.
For a change this week the children dug in the pebbles, filling and emptying wheelbarrows, and used the garden equipment to tidy up the green.
Continuing the interest in clay children used dinosaurs to make prints. Magnets were also an attraction as they explored what’s magnetic around the room.
