Walking to the allotments on Wednesday the children had a big surprise. A tractor with a front loader and hydraulic crane at the back was blocking the path. Whilst admiring the magnificent JCB the driver approached and asked if the children wanted to climb aboard. What a treat. After informing them he had filled in all the pot holes the children went to inspect his work. At the allotments the children enjoyed weaving and making salt dough faces.
A trip to the park involved the children working together as a team to pull the zip wire to the start, then took turns to enjoy the exhilarating feeling of being off the ground and gliding through the air!
Back at pre-school the children enjoyed building the train track to push their trains along, and using their gross motor skills to paint large boxes.
