An unusually quiet morning allowed us a walk to the Chapel. After easily climbing to the top the children still had enough energy to roly poly down the hill, (apparently rolling down a hill develops a child’s brain) collect the cut grass into piles, and climb the fence to see the carpet of bluebells. They even had enough puff left on the way back to blow some dandelion clocks to tell the time.
Two visits to the allotments this week enabled the children to ‘wash the animals’, ‘cut the grass’, use construction vehicles for digging, and use natural resources to make patterns on paper.
Back at the Pre-school the children planted sunflower seeds and washed babies.
