Painting the fallen branches and sticks after storm Isha and Jocelyn provided a different experience for the children to explore. Fine motor skills and gross motor skills were encouraged as the children had to reach and stretch to cover different parts of the branches.
Using their imagination the dinosaurs had various purposes this week. Trapping them with loom bands, stomping in the mud, and washing them were just some of the activities the children took part in.
At the allotments the ‘trapping’ game continued as the children became ‘stuck’ in the long grass, as well as painting the mud kitchen.
Back inside the children matched and sorted patterned socks, and constructed flowers out of stars.
