Thank you Lucy for bringing in some tadpoles. It was lovely to see the excitement on the faces of the children when they saw them in the tank. Exploring and learning about life cycles through observation and illustration is important for children to help them respect and care for the living things round them.
After completing a large wooden vegetable jigsaw puzzle we had a good conversation about food, healthy eating and caring for ourselves.
Continuing their interest in paint at the allotments the children enjoyed stepping in paint to make welly prints. Later we sorted all the wellies by size and pattern.
Playing at the green on Thursday provided us shelter from the wind and rain and baskets in the hall provided a base to stimulate imagination.
